okay, why wont you ask me out?

this guy i have been talking/flirting with likes me, and i like him. its been a month of flirting and hours of talking and i really want him to ask me to be his girlfriend, but shows no sign of doing it. is it me? does he need more time? help :(

he may not want a gf. he may just like the attention and ego boost. sorry, i know thats not what you want to hear but he may not even think you are expecting that. maybe you could try giving him space-like giving him some chase so he realizes how much he misses you if he does. you may have to make him realize what he's missing without you by showing him you aren't always gonna be around if he doesn't make a move

some guys don't see the importance on making a 'claim' of boyfriend/girlfriend they just do it but never feel they have to ask

some are very shy about taking the step of saying/asking about you being boyfriend and girlfriend

and some don't see the need to have a girlfriend if they're already getting all the benifits

I agree with most people on here--Make the first move.

Hell, if you don't you could end up like I did--in the "Talking" stage with a guy for 8 months. He was just too shy to make the first move. Finally, I did, and we end up dating for a while.
