Weigh Question :) (:

I was checking out the NHS BMI thing, it tells you if you are under weight, healty, over wieght or obese. I'm obese. I don't feel or think i look obese, but thats what they say:P

I'm 13, around 8-9 stone and 5foot tall, do you guys now what the average-ish weight for a girl my age is so i can compare :)?

They say it can also depend on your ethnic origin, going through puberty etc, but i just wanna know what the okay or average weight is :) ? Here is the BMI link :)

only a doctor can tell you what youre supposed to be-thats a rough estimate because everyones different. that test doesnt ask or measure or take into consideration near all eth things people use to find out whether someones healthy or not. and "obese" is not a scientific term-people can call anyone obese it is a relative descriptor. so this study is laughable at the most and should not be taken seriously.

There is no way you are obese. By my understanding you are around 112 pounds? Thats not bad at all! If you are comfortable in your own skin thats all that matters. If your concerned about your weight, then work out or limit calorie intake. For me i weigh 118 pounds but im also 5"7'.. I have to eat waay more just to able to have some sort of fat on me! So all in all your are no way obese but you may be in danger of it for your height range. Plus you are still going through puberty so it may be hard to lose or gain weight, Your pretty average.. Just work out maybe a little more often and eat healtheir and you will be on your way to more muscle and more self confidence!(: hope i helped!

i weigh 155lbs and i'm 5'6" it say's i'm right on that 25 so i'm almost overweight as well. but you you'd see me there is no one i know who would call me overweight

i don't like alot of those things because people bones are different density and that will add to the weight also muscle weighs more than fat so that can increase your weight

I'm about to turn 13 in a few days, and I'm 5'1 1/2. I weigh 100 lbs/45 kgs. I am average weight.

I take it that this is around 50-55 kgs.
You're not obese, but slightly overweight. It really depends on your build. This could be underweight, if you're very muscley. But it could be obese, if you have no muscle, and are of small stature.
