Cameo Necklaces?

Okay so I love the Cameo style necklaces cause they are exactly my style!

Question #1 :

Any body know of any cheap shops ( uk based ) that sell them? I got on from topshop but it was £9 :/ But its gorgeous, black and white!

Question #2 :

Its a strange one but I want to make my own version, not with shell or semi precious stones like the real ones are, but could you guys give me ideas as to white materials I should use? :)

I am in a creative mood :) xx

Thanks for any help xxx Here are some. I like the 3rd one on the top row best to be honest. Basically I like the profiles of faces

you can use clay. the kind they sell at hobby stores that comes in colors that you have to bake

if you can try and make the white part kinda thin in places it'll look more real you just have to be really careful when trying to move it to the black background clay circle. i would say do small pieces and put iit on the black part then use a tool to shape and sculpt it into a piece of your finished cameo. you can always scrape it off the black when your done

Sellers on eBay sell them quite cheaply, but they are generally not "real" cameos.

You might want to try consignment shops as well. I have found some pretty neat jewelry in second hand stores... again likely not real, though.

This etsy seller has a bunch of really pretty ones ranging from

5-12 $$ which is like 4-9 euro I think,

and I'm almost positive they ship to the uk at around 3 euros.

to make them yourself, I also say go with clay.
