I get made fun of for my pale skin.I'm very pale.I barely get a tan in the summer;usually just burn.I don't go to a tanning bed because that's definetly not healthy for my skin.I'd really burn then.I was thinking about getting a spray or airbrush tan.Whatever it's called, but I'm afraid it will make me look orange or rusty because I'm so pale.I don't want to go dark either.??Help.

I am also a pale person.

But... I have found that lying out in the sun with some baby oil on my skin helps.. Not for too long, or you will burn like CRAZY.

But tanning beds help too. Just make sure you find a good bronzer or else you won't see much difference.

Or... You could just deal with it and be happy that you have skin :D

I think those are very good ideas.

Too many young girls tan and end up having rawhide like skin or skin cancer when they get older. Regardless of which you do, even with regular tanning there is a possibility of turning an orange shade.

Another good option other than the ones you mentioned is some of the lotions out there that have a little amount of tanner in them. They gradually give you more color and rarely give an orange shade. The only downside is that it will give you color gradually so it will be a few weeks before you get any noticeable results.

Another thing as far as facially you can always try some bronzer on the areas the sun naturally hits such as your cheeks as well as your shoulders and your collarbone/chest.

If you do decide to get a spray tan, remember to exfoliate beforehand, and exfoliating afterwards can help if you turn too orange looking.

And the last thing I have to say is

Fair skin is beautiful and dont let anyone tell you different. If you want to gain a glow because you like it by all means go for it but don't change because of someone else. :)

I kind of have that same prblem. Im not very pale but i love to look tan.

I dont like going tanning because 1. its not healty 2. i get clausterphobic in those beds 3. i burn from the sun and 4. spray tans make me look orange lol

Last summer i stated using Jergens natural glow. It works really good. It takes awhile for you to notice the change but its totally worth it. I suggest you give it a try

If I was you I wouldn't get a spray tan it makes you orange and fades too quickly. You should just tell these people to leave you alone there is nothing wrong with pale skin, its beautiful, natural and you won't have to worry about skin cancer. Love yourself the way you are.
