to make hair shorter-cut it. to make hair thicker, blow dry your hair upside down, use root lifting sprays and thickening gels and lotions, get a layered hair cut-layers add volume. too much conditioner will add volume-but conditioner adds shine and health dso dont stop using it completely. Conditioner could be bc your scalp is too dry-either youre not shampooing your hair enough or not using enough conditioner to keep it hydrated. dandruff shampoo helps take care of dandruff well

For dandruff, I believe Tea tree oil and products will work. You can massage the tea tree oil on your scalp. Or if you can purchase Head and Shoulders shampoo or any medicated shampoo this will help a lot.

do you live somewhere else now or are you still in india?

if you live near a walmart now you can buy the cheap offbrand (equate) verion of head and shoulders it works great for me i used it every day and i scrub at my scalp lightly with it for about a minuet.

then i follow with a good condioner

you can look in my lists under 'stuff i use' to see the exact pictures of what i use

As a hairdresser, I seriously suggest you DO NOT use head and shoulders, or any other off the shelf dandruff shampoo.

What these shampoos do to your head is really gross. They are super harsh on your cuticles and they coat them in this film. The reason they work so well is because it makes your roots and cuticles work twice as hard to replenish healthy hair. If you took a pair of scissors to a strand of your hair and gently scrape the hair, you will notice a film comes off on the blade. This is what is coating your hair, and is awful. Your hair can become damaged from the substances in these shampoos.

I suggest you go see a physician where they will recommend or prescribe a tar like substance that you place on your hair instead. It doesn't smell good at all, but it works. AND IT'S HEALTHY!

Ewww, really? I did not know that it was that harsh on your scalp. I have been using Aveda's healthy scalp and I like it. But sometimes when I feel really itchy then I would use my boyfriend's head and shoulders. hummmm.....i believe I will be staying away from that one.
