Whats the difference between long layers and short layers, which one should I get?

Are short layers just shorter than regular layers? I think this girl in this picture or channel or whatever, has short layers but I'm not sure. I'm wanting her hair in the picture where's she's wearing a orange hoddie.

If you have other suggestions that would be cool too. - picture here.

she only has a few sections of layers

and short layers are like the scene hair every layer starts around the crown is only a few inches from the base and each layer after if like an inch apart it makes your hair look really thin too

long layers leaves the hair longer and fuller this is closer to the girl in your picture. there aren't alot of layers and they aren't short. i have long layers too

that girl has longer layers-theres not really a black and white difference between long layers and short layers i think shorter layers are layers that come to your chin and above and long layers are usually when teh shortest is longer than your chin

shorter layers:

Long layers, you can just see them near the ends of your hair. They're not much. Shorter layers are like mine in this picture. Its when they can be cut as short as to your mouth. That girl has long layers though, so nothin' much.
