What is your approah to eye makeup, more specifically eye shadow, whats your approach?

Eye makeup and I are not on speaking terms. The worst of it is eye shadow as I am trying to use 3 shades and it just doesn't seem like it comes out well. Can you use just one shade and have it draw out your eyes? Do you need two? I'm trying to figure out how to get my eyes working with the rest of my makeup instead of being a rebel!

i love using just one color

i like either black, silver, olive, or gold liner on my top lid only

i like to use light sheer colors like covergirl. in silvery white, tan, brown, purples, greens

you can look in my blogs under 'makeup' to see what i do

you can look in my lists to see some 'stuff i use' and 'makeup' to see some cool tricks

if you want to blend colors i would suggest you buy a NYX eyeshadow pencil you can get a tan or white as a base and put it on your lid. then smudge the edges then apply your shadow colors to that and blend at the edges of the colors. it works great for that and it's cheap

i love doing things that look fresh faced and natural

haha! I love your personality. I giggled a little when I read this. I totally know how you feel. I only use one shade because in like 10 minutes it all smudges together on me anyways to become one splotchy clump in the crease. I always use a dark color and rub it very thick in the crease, then I either apply mascara and leave the lid bare or I barely dab a little on the lids so that it looks lighter and gives illusion of 2 shades. Or just use one dark shade up to the crease and apply a light highlighter under your brow bone to bring out eyes more.
