Hair care help :)

I never get split ends, and my hair never really breaks either..

But the ends of my hair do become dry and a little brittle.. and when they become dry, they also become discoloured - making my hair look a lot less healthy, and a lot lighter. (I look best with dark hair.)

How can I prevent dry hair - and I mean something that REALLY WORKS.

Also.. is there a black dye you recommend? I'd like to dye my hair black, but I'd prefer it to look "almost black" and I want something that won't dry out my hair.

Thanks xxx

did you know you can actually put sun block on your hair as well (don't get me wrong use too much and you'll look greasy but you can put some on the ends of your hair or try to wear a hat when you go outside

my mom likes clairol nice and easy. she get's the almost black brown shade and the does like to use the wash in one so it's not so damaging. i think it's called step 1 or 2? but you can apply it every few days to maintain the color but when you want it to go away you just stop using the rince and the color washes out in a few weeks

I'm guessing the damage is due to UV you bake out a lot? whatever the cause, coconut milk does wonders to damaged and discolored hair. I've tried it myself and my hair was at its shiniest for days! if you can't find the real deal, try products that are based on that. apply to hair generously and leave for bout half an hour then rinse off. maintain it with regular hot oil treatments.

as for hair dye, I've heard good reviews for Garnier Nutrisse.
