I know everyone asks this but could I model?

Weight-135 ( i also have a lot of metal in my back so like without the metal i would be 127-8 pounds.)

I do have a scar so swim suits

I cannot play sports for a year because a back surgery so I need a new hobby.

My school did a fashion show in May, the person told me I should get private lessons and pursue it.

I am now accutally thinking about it.

These pictures are not that great i will upload better ones if you follow my blog this is something my dad put together.

We get these questions a lot here. I always wonder if anyone actually does what is reccomended for them to do. It's a long read, but my FIRST (way down there ) answer to this femme is pretty much what you have to have down before getting started .

Do you know what KIND of model you wish to be? Even if it's runway or editorial modelling (like in Vogue) I think your height allows for it, but that won't be the only deciding factor.

Your first task should be building a PROFESSIONAL portfolio of shots.
Even if you have 800 pictures of yourself that you self-timed , or self-shot , or someone helped you, it'll look more professional and make agencies prone to hiring you more if your portfolio looks good. In the link i gave you there are three places i suggested, onemodelplace, modelmayhem, and modelinsider.

~ You will be asking the photographers (at first) for TFP/TFCD (time for print / time for CDs) pictures of yourself. Some do it, some don't, it's a matter of looking around for professional starting photographers and asking. (be sure to see what kind of pictures they do in their own personal portfolios)

~ compile the best images : most will be unedited, a professional editor usually runs at around 100USDs per printsheets , their prices vary S= if you get Time for CD shoots, you can track down someone who edits well in photoshop, by that I do not mean smudge out all imperfections and add a glow. That's just *shudders* No. Uhh felice fawn for example retouches images, your goal is for it to look as Non-photoshopped as possible, but crisp and professional.

~ Agencies :I search them out, show out you portfolio. Wait for the interview call.

I think you should essentially, start with this, usually after getting in an agency you'll be able to get paid. Not an outrageous amount because you're still unknown but a nice average per hour. : I Go ahead and try it, doesn't hurt to try right :I I'll be checking back u_u
