Hairspray vs. Bugs

i use a lot of hairspray to get my hair right but whenever i go outside, i'm surrounded by bugs. Any hairspray that bugs don't like? Or a way to make them go away?

sweet smells attract bugs you'd need something that doesn't have much of a smell.

basicly it can be trial and error

there may not be one. if you insist on wearing some you may need to spray with a bug repelent afterward

Different insects are attracted to different smells. Mosquitos will bite more if the person has just ate a banana. Yellow jackets hate hair spray, and bees don't like sweet smells at all.

lemon juice will make the insects go away, but i don't really know if a hairspray with lemon scent exists ?

or maybe you could wear perfume with a light lemon scent ? i've also read that vanilla has the same effect as lemon on insects

hope it helps
