For scene girls....

I've been called scene, emo, and a poser. My ex-friend was the one who called me a poser. She told me that I didn't wear scene clothes, didn't have the hair, didn't act it, and didn't listen. I know for a fact i have the hair and clothes but i was wondering. Do you act a certain way? Do scene people have a certain music that they listen to to be scene? Please tell me what you listen to and how you act... thanks. (i think i might show the results to her, so answer truthfully please) ok, first, i'm a girl ^.^

second, i have no intention of changing myself to fit a stereotype. i am who i am and i'm not changing that for anyone.

third, this is mainly a thing i can show my ex-friend she she'll lay of my case.

i'm looking for personal experience, not the stereotypes. my whole point here is to prove her wrong and that we're all different.

'scene' is expressing your inside feelings on the outside, so the majority of people can be scene, but they tend to use similar hairstyles, make-up, etc..

i don't really know what music 'scene kids' listen to, but i would think kind of hardcore/indiee? :]

Your ex-friend sounds like a beast:thumbdown: . i dont know about scene but i know hardcore is the way to go...i think scene kids would be more about rave music. i see more scene kids at raves than any other people. and how they act, they act how they are they dont care what the world thinks and how the world labels them. they just be themselves.

hope i helped and the best of luck to you.

scene kids are more into rave music and screamo and they ignore what people think about them and they just like being themselves

truthfully i think being an individual is a good way to discribe alot of these titles

you be who you are and not a certain way

scene kids tend to act similar to ravers in the way they dress and act as well

fun and young

bright colors and accessories

the big differance is usually ravers tend to glow and have dreadfalls

scene has thick liner and puffy hair

music is usually a lil rock a lil punk a lil dance, anything with a beat

and most act happy because they are being true to them y would you be all emo about that lol

obviously you are a poser if you're gonna try to act a certain way and try to like a certain kind of music just because its fits the stereotype of a label..

lol sorry i thought i read ex-girlfriend so i was soooooooooo off base with the him thing lol

but yea i wouldnt' stress over it anyway. if she can't like who you are then she never really mattered anyway.

and if you guys are just having a spiff she'll apolige and you dont' need to rub it in lol

either way forget about it like water under the bridge

Personally, I think it's pretty sad you're labeling yourself. You should just dress, look, act and listen to the music you want. Why should you care about you're ex-friend's opinions if she's not in your life?

Lol, why would you try to be someone you're not?? Why label yourself? Thats such highschool drama...Tell your friend and yourself to get overrrr it!
