My close friend has swine flu - what shall I do??

My close friend, who's in my class has got swine flu. She was in school yesterday and she found out this morning... She has sneezed and coughed within a metre of me and on me as well, accidentally. I don't think I've got any of the symptoms yet apart from a runny nose and a stiff chest... what should I do?

If I do get swine flu, how long do you have to stay in quarrantine for and also how long does it last if your treated and everything? Thanks I'm just a little worried x Thanks, I'll look out for more symptoms and then go to a doctor if i feel worse and stuff x

well first off, go to a doctor and get checked.

the way it's spread is by sneezing and coughing.

so that's not good.):

I can't find anything about quarantine,

but it saiss that you're usually contagious for a day before the symptoms and 7 days after

(but in younger children it can be longer)

after treatment it says stay home for 7 days after too,

or 24 hours after symptoms are gone.

I'm sure you, and your friend will be fine.

you might not even have it,

but it's best to get it checked out now.

i think, just to be on the safe side, that

you should get checked by the doctoor.

the main symptoms of swine flu are; coughing

sneezing, runny nose and a fever.

it is advised to stay indoors for seven days, until

you have fully recovered from it.

you and your friend will be finee, just don't worry

about her, because the more you worry, the more

you will think of the bad things that could happen.

well if someone at you school actually has swine flu they should have everyone checked out

they don't play with that becaue you can die really fast

so are you sure it was not just the regular flu?

and you need to get checked out ASAP

don't play if you have it you can give it to your family too and you don't want to hurt anyone or yourself so if she has it for sure go to the dr tomarrow
