How should I decorate my school bag?

Okay, so I went down to this market which is near where I live and thought, why don't I buy a bag and decorate it like I want it to look? So I bought this messenger bag which is charcol grey with like nothing on it apart from a couple of stiches and it was only £6 so I thought why not?

But I want to decorate it and I don't know quite how.... any ideas?

you could sew/glue beads on with pattens or spelling out your name, or just some random colorful or metallic buttons.

you can also decorate your bag with keychains or colorful scarfs that match your outfit

You can get HUGE bows and tie them around the straps and get loads of key chains and put them on. also you can put on like cool badges which you may get from claires..

i like taking the dark colored sharpies and putting hearts and stars

or maybe using a pencil first and sketching a pretty cherry blossom and using fabric paint then you can wash the pencil off when it's dry

if u know how to sew or know somebody who sews, u could sew patches onto it. use old fabric and cut out squares of it. u could even take old clothes and make patches out of them. it would be sooo cute!
