I am a stay at home mom to a wonderful three-year-old son! I love him to death. I am married to a wonderful man, he is the best ever.

I am known for my hair. Everyone likes it. I have done a little, tiny bit of modeling. I like doing it. I love it when I see the photos, afterwards, it More saduisahduiash dsau

Wedding dress makeover.

I want to really keep my wedding dress, but I don't think I'll ever wear it again with how it is now. Me and my husband want to renew our vows soon (probably fifth or tenth year anniversary) and I really want to do it on the beach. I have attached a photo of my dress, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of how I should get it altered for a beach wedding renewal and be able to wear it after that as well. I want to get some good use out of this dress because it has a lot of sentimental value.

Thanks for any input.

if you dont want to cut off the bottom just pin up the dress. if you dont mind cutting the dress i would alter it up to your knees since your going to be on a beach. use the excess fabric for something else?

i think it would be cute if you took the fabric at your hips and pulled it up to the bottom of your breast and stitched it to fit your waist up there

it would still have all that beautiful embrodery and the same shape at the bottom but it would be higher for a more summer feel...

also maybe add a sheer wrap around your sholders or waist in a light baby blue or cream, cause let's face it. lol if we've been married for a while we don't have to just wear white lol

I am willing to take it to someone to get it hemmed and altered. Definitely.

Haha, VERY true. I'll debate on adding color later. We will be celebrating our fourth anniversary this coming Spring, but I am such a horrible procrastinator that I figured I should probably get started on this dress, so it is perfect. It was extrememly long on me. I had it hemmed three inches and it still dragged with me wearing heels. I really do want to keep the bottom and was thinking of just raising it up. I just don't know how well it would look, because I want to keep it fitted, because it still fits (actually fits my boobs better since I have had a kid since I wore it, haha).
