Would it look good if I got blonde highlights in my dark brown hair?

As i said, my hair is dark brown, its up to about half of my back, layered, and i have sideswept bangs. I'm not sure if I want just normal blonde highlights or just blonde on the under part of my hair/layers. Advice?

I personally don't think it would look good! But that's just my opinion and style! I think you should go for something that wouldn't look to streaky maybe a deep purple tint or auburn! I think you'd look good with low-lights that compliments your natural color instead of overpowering it with blonde highlights. The picture I uploaded is what I am thinking you mean. I don't like how chunky it looks, it just looks very cheap too me.

But once again that is just my opinion. Hope it helps :)

hmm, I think that blonde highlights in your dark hair would not look that great. there's a girl in my school with dark hair, and got blonde highlights, and it looked straight up terrible. but! however, a friend of mine has very dark brown hair. & she got blonde & red highlights. here's 2 pictures of her. its pretty hard to see the red, since the pictures were taken outside, at night xD during, but there you go! I think they look awesome in her hair. you should consider getting red & blonde. =)
