Which facial skin care range is most recommended for my skin?

I used Clinique's 3-step range for a month, but it was AWFUL. I used type 1 as I have tight and flaky skin all around and am not prone to acne or blemishes but the stuff covered my cheeks in bumps, some of which were itchy and pus-filled. I've suffered from eczema since before I could walk and so have always been aware that I have very dry and quite sensitive skin, but I got the mildest forms of the stuff and definitely think it's a complete waste of money. Anyway, thing is, I need a new range of products now that I've stopped using that stuff and my face needs to recover. I heard Aveeno was quite good, and Cetaphil? I'm unsure about whether to buy products for extra dry skin because I don't want the spots on my face to worsen. Any help would be awesome. Thanks xx
