So when I got my hair cut the stylist thinned out ALL my hair. Usually I have extremely thick hair, and now when I grab all of my hair it feels like I'm grabbing a PENCIL, it's that thin :(

Can anyone tell me any way to thicken out my hair or how long it's going to take for my hair to regain it's original thickness?

This is killing me so much, my hair means so much to me and I was so devastated, and I know it's hair and everything, but still....I'm really upset about it :(

Oh no! :(

Did your stylist aknowledge her mistake? If not, then maybe it's time for a new one.

The best thing you can do is keep it healthy, meaning eat lots of fruits and vegetables, drink 6-8 glasses of milk and/or water, exercise regularly and limit sun exposure. No harsh chemicals like hairspray or styling wax, and ABSOLUTELY no teasing!!! Try using a body booster shampoo meant for thin hair and use minimal products used to thicken hair. Don't wash it to much as to thin it even more. You can buy extensions for the time being while your hair grows back and depending on how thin your hair is now and how thick it was before it could take anywhere from 5-10 months. Good luck!

lol it'll be just fine and it depends how fast your hair grows usually it's about as fast as your nails grow because they are made of hair too

massage your scalp in the shower when you shampoo and condition and when your hat home put it up in a loose ponytail (or atleast what you can get up into it) to help stimulate the follicles too

the longer it goes the thicker it will get again

yeah these girls below are right.

1. you have to wait to let it grow out to get it totallly back to its original thickness but the only way to grow your hair is to wait-nothing really helps stimulate hair growth believe it or not

2. you can ask for a refund or another cut because its her fault and you but shouldnt have to live with her mistake-but you may have even shorter hair for a while thicken your hair, think the opposite of thin-less conditioner, uplift the roots by drying it upside down, thickening gel/root spray. prob thickening cream and gel because the spray targets the roots and your roots are fine-its the thinness throughout thats prob bothering you

5. at least it's not hereditary and youre stuck with thin hair forever like me:)

well, i no practically nothing about this, but my hair used to be really thin like that, and now it is really thick! it took about 2 years, my mum cuts my hair, and she trims the tinniest bit off the bottom like ever 6 weeks, which makes it grow faster and thicker. not great advice really, but it might help :L
