How does burning skin on purpose with Lactic acid to even the skin out sounds ?

Yea basically i have uneven skintone around my nose, there is a whiter (lighter) thick line across my nose that makes my nose fatter and uneven. Its where i wear my glasses, and I want to darken that line. I dont know if i could spot tan it, but i have stop wearing my glasses for a few years but it made absolutely no difference. Anyway, i used lactic acid on my elbow for different reason half a year ago, and my elbow actually peeled, but i felt like it darkened it, and this is where i got the idea from. So now i use it on the side of my nose, till it turn really irritated and red, first time i used it, it literally burned, inflamed, and the scab came over it. And it darkens. Next time, it wasnt that extreme, but it still irritates and a weaker scab do come over it. Yea i think its darkening it, im not doing it consistently and its not perfectly even (so the skin burns unevenly thus the darkening, because lactic acid is liquid). Just wanted to know how safe it is (skin cancer risk? other risk), and if there's better alternative, like spot tanning (if its even real), cause i really wanna darken the side of my nose evenly, giving it a more narrow and even look. I used 40 percent lactic acid for like 5-10 minute straight every 2 day (well that was the routine, but i take a long break after doing it for a week. Last time i did it was few months ago)And please dont say to stop wearing glasses and go out in the sun, because i tried that for few years and it made absolutely no difference. Thanks.I didn't find the right solution from the internet.References:- http://www.shareayurveda.com/threads/1504-Oily-skeen-problem- Cloud Customer Insights Video Examples
