split ends from a razer ?!!

this may sound really dumb, but like 6 months ago i was really into the 'scene ' look. so was my best friend. anyways so she had awesome hair. and i wanted it, we were on webcam one day and she showed me how shed cut her own hair making the layers better using a shaving raver :| so i tried it and at first it looked good but now i have reaallllly bad split ends from it that start off really short and it just looks real bad :( what do i do ??

omg..that is too bad... same thing happend to a friend at school.. it looked really good for a bit, then the split ends were just like crazy. She ended up having to go get it cut professionally...it was ok after that.

try getting some kind of shampoo& conditioner for split ends. and you should probably get your hair trimmed like once a month for a while. also, a friend told me that at sally's they sell these folicure pills that actually help your hair grow. She said that she took them and they worked. I dunno, cause I havent tried. but I plan on it. & thats what she said. =)

Major, major conditioning! And there is this new conditioner that is supposed to seal your split ends (don't know what it's called though)...

conditioning and trimming depending on how big the split ends are.

Oh goodness, well at least you learned your lesson not to do anything like that again! You shouldn't even let your hair salon come near your hair with a razor!! Don't worry though time will heal all - just make sure you're using split end mending cream or spray and maybe buy a good leave in conditioner to help mend! I recommend going to the salon (tell them what happened) and see what they can do. Also a product that I love and am going to recommend for fixing your hair is: Infusium 23 Repair & Renew Leave in Treatment - Here's a link to the product:

HAVE YOUR VITAMINS TOO!

Your hair will get better as long as you are treating your scalp and ends well! Good luck and be patient :)
