What Can I eat to loose weight?

I dont have the money to buy any diet pills, and I shop a a really cheep version of Kroger. I am a full time Freshman in college and Have very little time to 'fix' a meal. I want to drop some pounds as soon as I can. I take an Yoga twice a week as well.

Everyone syas eat fruits and such, I know that but what are some healthy munchies and meals I can eat that are good for me and will help me loose weight?

okay my mom is a health specialest and she says if u want chips by baked chips and watch ur calories try to exercise and dont go all crazy about ur eating habbits cus youll put your body in shock and u could gane weight easier if u want ice cream get low fat and sugar just cut the calories and sugar back on your food and on snacks

Okay here are some tips I learned.

1: If a choclate bar has 180 calories and a nutrigrain bar has 200. Which would you pick? The nutrigrain bar is what you should pick. Even though ithas more calories it's filled with energy that fuels you the whole day and you can burn off the calories too!

2. It's not ALL about how many calories or nesscarly what you eat. It's how much your eatting and how much you exirce too.

3. Set goals for yourself.

For example maybe for every 2nd day of the week you have to do 10 minutes of curl ups, 5 minutes push ups etc. And it can be fun. Maybe dance non-stop for 20 or 15 minutes.

4. Only eat when your hungry and if you are hungry and want a snack then pick healthy ones like fruit, cheese and crackers (don't put on too much cheese!) etc.

5. Don't think of it has a diet, think of it as a challege or "life change". Just think of it as FUN!

6. Set a weight goal or how much pounds you want to lose.

Try a vegan diet. Vegans don't eat milk, eggs, honey, whey, cane sugar, Vitamin D, or any other products that come from animals making your diet very limited therefore causing you to lose weight.

Vegan Diet is a great and healthy way to lose brother is vegan and he lost weight..and it really helped some of his chronic health problems..but it is kind of strict and you really have to stick with it..but it has done wonders for i agree with Jessi_Elisa.

yupp there definitily is healthier foods in like bigger meals,try looking for recipes on the internet for healthy meals

n always follow the 4 food groups:D

meat actually should b eaten in small portion(size of clenched fist)

yess vegetables n fruit r a definite must have

lotss of water to stay hydrated


, ever tried the 100 calorie snack packs?,whole wheat,yogurt,cereal bars,etc

keep it tht way you sld though excercise (1 hour daily)

remeber in portions especially wen ur at sum partly filled with tons of fatties,take small portions

avoid eating wen boredd , stressed,and tired

(ask yourself,ru really hungry?) keep your mind of it by doing other stuff like sports,or yoga is a good stress-free thing

avoid sugary sweets n tons of fast food which can trigger cravings

n one last thing have fun,dont worry too much about what you eat,but dont skip meals(3)
