body scrubs aka exfoliating scubs

so my beautician is always complaining to me that i have dry skin and because of that i can never get my legs properly waxed ( loads of ingrown hairs).

can anyone give me names of good body scrubs which i can buy or even ideas of home made ones.

I agree, I like St. Ives. I've found it to be less expensive than Neutrogena's body scrubs, which I also like, or Aveeno's Positively Radiant exfoliating body wash, which I am trying right now.

Don't forget to moisturize generously, too! Have you tried applying mineral oil right out of the shower and letting your skin air dry? Some people swear by that method to lock in moisture.

You can practically use any scub you like... but the difference is how thorogh you are when using it. It take quite a bit of muscle... you have to take your time and circular motions. What works well is if you stand in the warm shower for a little to help steam and loosen up your dead skin before you exfoliate.

Do not forget to lotion up after you get out of the shower!

St.Ives Apricot Scrub in the Jar is my absolute favorite and pretty inexpensive as well. Slap some on a louffah (however you spell it) and your body will be very smooth once your out of the shower. You can use it on your face too but if you have sensitive skin try the gentle one or the one meant for acne. Also, after you get out of the shower, remember to MOISTURIZE!
