Help me gain weight ! >

A few months ago I was struggling with an eating disorder, but I'm better now :3 The problem is, my way of thinking kind of reversed. I used to find my body repulsive and fat, now I just find it disgusting and boney. I have trouble finding clothes because I'm so thin, everything hangs wrong on me. I hear my guy friends talking about the curvy girls they like and I just feel gross and unwanted and ugly because I haven't got any curves.

I know that I'm underweight still, so I thought I could regain my figure by gaining weight. The problem is, no matter what I eat or how much, I don't gain a pound. Ideas ? ><

Also, I know that your boobs will be a certain size based on your genetics and won't necessarily get bigger if you gain weight, but I was wondering if it would work differently in my situation?

well, in your case, you want to add calories the healthy way like adding protein.

here are some sites that you could have a look at:

congratulations on overcoming your eating disorder. i know it's hard. i suffered too when i was 12. luckily, i overcome it by seeing quite a few people like a doctor, counciller and personal trainer. i know it's hard but just keep persevering and you'll be healthy in no time!!!!

about the boys, don't pay attention to them. that's their opinion. some guys prefer curvy girl girls while other tend to go for skinny girls. it's all their preference. but of course, the right guy will love you for who you are, not what you look like.

im not sure if your boobs will get bigger but your bra size may go up because you are adding more weight around the sides of your body and on your back. also, when you are really skinny and bony your boobs look small. i don't know why. i think it's just how people see things.

boob's are mainly the milk glands in your boobs, even big girls can have small boobs i know a few.

i would suggest drinking an ensure with your lunch and dinner (or breakfast and dinner) ensure or slimfast drinks are MEAL REPLACERS they are full of vitamins and things your body needs. but if you drink them WITH a meal it's healthy but you'll be getting more calories perday that way and it can actually help you gain some weight. if you can't buy them then drinking milk and even milk with ovaltine with your meals can help you gain/maintain weight in a healthy way

Thank you so much ^-^

You said you suffered too, do you ever feel like you might relapse? I'm only 14 now, and I don't want to spend my life dealing with my weight... I had to deal with 7 different specialists/doctors, and I've had enough, but I either feel too thin, or someone will make a comment like "Oh, you're gaining," and suddenly I feel really self conscious and fat and I don't want to eat. Is that normal ? x.x

i know that i still refuse to eat really fatty foods like ice cream and cookies. i guess that is also good for my body too. if i have a bad day or i feel depressed, i definately feel like i might go back to my old habits. i know how you feel. i asked my family not to comment on my weight, even if it was something positive like ÿou're gaining". don't worry. i know you'll gain the weight that you need to reach a healthy weight.
