Hair Straighteners/Flat Irons

So i have a Revlon one that i got at CVS for a good price a little over a year ago and it still works like a charm. This worries me.

I'm afraid it's gonna stop working and my hair will look crazy. Does anyone know or have a good brand or iron that works well [[i have thick-ish, wavy//curly hair]]? Preferably something low price. Also, where you got it... ^.^

(>")> thanks maybe something i could buy in a store... not a huge fan of online shopping
