okay, kind of gross, but i need help!

i'm generally quiet lucky and have pretty clear skin, but when i get spots, i get really big ones on the side of my nose. i have one at the moment, but it's really red, and it popped and has now turned into a hard lump under my skin. does anyone know of any home remedies to get rid of spots, or to reduce their opinions, or products that i can buy cheaply. i start back at school in two days time, and it really hurts and looks bad.

oh, and i've tried ice, but it only has a temporary effect :L

plus, if anyone has any great tips on keeping clear skin, it would be much appreciated (:

thanks in advance :D

well from personal experiance there isnt much you can do for this, i would say try not to touch it and buy a good cover up. also try ''Neutrogena visibly clear rapid clear tratment'' just put it directly on the spot before you go to bed and it should be visably smaller in the morning but remember to wash your faice thrurrly before you put it on and when you wake up in the morning. When you are at school jsut try and use make up to cover it up best you can.

it should be gone enough in a few days

but i like to wipe my skin with witch hazel (they sell it near the alcholo which works well too) in the morning and evening and if i get oily during the day and i'm not at home i just use water and wipe it off with a cloth.

it sounds like it could be a stress spot. usually i would say its caused by excess oil and you need to dry it out but it sounds like its coming from within instead of something from the outside irritating it. from now on, if its a whitehead then try to pop it if its really ready and doesnt require much pressure to do it. but otherwise start trying to treat it with things that dry your face out like astringent or a less moisturizing face wash like foam or exfoliater like once or twice a week. then use a zit cream every night and see what happens. iif you have naturally dry skin then try moisturizing it more and use a creamy cleanser. if nothing oozes out of it though its not something thats going to be solved easily cuz its under the surface. if stuff does come out of it then it can be dried up with zit cream. sorry for the graphic response lol
