I will be writing an article about this on my blog very soon but meanwhile one advice I can give it to you is to use a gel before blow drying your hair. Use it only on the ends. Then blow dry and straighten with a straightener.

At night you can wrap it, that will instantly keep it straight in the mornings.
In the mornings if you didn't wrap you can straighten it out with a heat protectant and hair straightener (sometimes a heat protectant and combing through is all you need and it'll dry straighter)
Have a lot of conditioning products, relaxed hair tends to get dry and damaged easier because of the chemical rebonding that goes on between the relaxer and hair.
It's a trial and error thing :/ You really have to find a way to get as little breakage over time as possible, and then your hair will grow. That varies , from person to person.
