Help! Curvy and Clueless!

My body is VERY curvy, unfortunately styles today are more for super skinny, less curvy girls! I'm not over-weight just curvy and I want to embrace it but everything just makes me feel fat! What are some good styles for curvy figures?

Yay! Finally someone else like me! I have the same problems. It kind of depends on your body shape, like you could be carrying most of the weight around your thighs and legs, or just your tummy area. If your like me you'll have an hourglass shape which means you have a very lovely marilyn monroe body. (Included picture) And lucky you! You can actually wear anything you want as long as you wear it in your size, there's no point trying to squeeze into a size 6, it's just going to make you look and feel bigger. I love reading the blogs of She's probably more bigger than you but everything looks great on her, she inspires most of my outfits, she also has other curvy bloggers links you can click on and check out. Hope this helps! xox

i miss the time when curves used to be the sign of femininity. the thing that made women womanly.
i find this blog very useful, unlike the others that treat "curvy" as "plus sized"

this was far less useful but still nice if you are wondering if a certain type of a summer dress fits you well. i believe pictures would've been good for this, but i guess it's alright.

one more thing i've noticed on a lot of websites about this is that they all suggest belting a dress, tunic, everything that's a bit more baggy so it flatters your curves.
xo :)
