Hey everyone! I'm new here, and I was just wondering how to make a messy bun with layered hair?

I just got a new hair cut and I'm not sure about it, because I play soccer and I need my hair up, and I like buns:P

Clips and hairspray would be the best option if you're trying to keep your hair off your face

I have layered hair too and I like buns so keep my hair out of the way. This method works for me :
For a messy bun, hold you hair up high as though you were tieing your hair in a ponytail and start twisting your hair so you eventually start getting twisted hair and you're holding it up near the end of your hair vertically. Keep twisting it so it starts to twist it's self into shape and a bun kinda starts to form. Once you have your bun, use some elastic bands and bobby pins to secure it in place. The tighter you twist, the less likley your hair may fall out. (:
I hope this helps if it makes any sense haha

Try looking up tutorials on google for the 'korean bun'.
Tie your hair up as high as you can get it, sometimes putting your head downwards and grabbing your hair works best. Tie it tightly in a ponytail and spread at least two different sections of the ponytail out. Gently begin to tease each section a little. (you can skip this, but it adds some volume and makes it look cute.) Next, take one section and gently ease it around the band of the ponytail, securing it with a bobby pin etc. Do the same with the other section, but go in the opposite direction. And you have your bun! Because you have layers, you'll have hair sticking up a bit at the top, just brush them down and hairspray. Or tie them down with a bobby pin. :)
