What to ask at hairdressers for scene hair

about the last 5 times i've been to the hairdressers, I've asked them to give me a scene haircut, i bring a photo and tell them i want it exactly like that. Every time, they use one of those barrel brush things when they blow dry it so my fringe and the ends of my hair flick in, even when i ask them to straighten over the top of it they still make it flick out.

And no it's ot cause my hair naturally goes like that because i can make it go straight at home.

How can i ask them to make it dead straight, should i ask them to straighten it first without blowdrying it??

I've got another appointment this afternoon and i'm going to take this photo so if anyone knows what I should ask the hairdresser or how to describe it or any good photos to take that would be great thanks.

you want straight layers. i'm sure some of the pics you bring in the girls probly tease underneath and that could confuse some ppl thinking the roundness is suppost to be natural.

just tell them you want straight shag layers

it wouldn't hurt if you go a few places first and actually try to find a young hairstylist that actually knows what you're talking about. alot of older ones may not have a clue what it is.

and once you find one that does good MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR HER EVERY TIME!!!
