thinking of cutting really thick hair short ( pics ). any suggestions?

i'm very bored of having long wavy/curly hair

i want short hair desperately but i'm scared it will look terrible

here's what it looks like now:

i had put my hair in a pony tail and loved the way i looked without all that mess. ( other picture)

any suggestions on styles?

if you want short hair then go for it. :]

have you tried straightening it, that might help thin it, and when you get it cut, you could ask the hairdresser to thin it for you. :]

i suggest, a simple trim but angle the front around your face and parted in the middle,

this is what i do to make the top thinner

when you get out of the shower and your hair is this wet/damp,

pull your hair in a LOW semi-tight messy bun,

spray some de-frizzer,

let dry

when it is mostly dry let it down

if you dont want it short you could thin it. much easier. and you know you'll like it as apposed to short hair...where you wouldnt know until its done, but i think this would look good on you.

I'm in the same rut as you my dear! I have VERY long and VERY thick, wavy/curly hair and I'm getting sick of it. The only reason I haven't chopped it all off now is because my boyfriend will moan! lol.

I agree with the below black, medium bob, just be prepared to straighten!
