Well Peta.com and Peta2.com has some amazing articles and what not if you are becoming a vegetarian. Beans and peanut butter are high in protein, eat lot's of veggies and fruits. Also, you could try veggie burgers. I would NOT suggest Boca though. :P

Go to the PETA site and sign up for the vegetarian starter kit, it was helpful for me. Also they have some recipes that are great. There are a bunch of sites that have vegetarian recipes out there. Of course you can't eat meat and fish, but also you cant eat anything with gelatin in it because it is made of ground up bones basically. So make sure you read the ingredients on the things you eat because a lot of things that have a jelly like filing have gelatin in them.

The changes to my diet weren't as drastic as I thought they would be. Just make sure you eat tofu, beans, nuts, or something to get your protein since you wont be eating meat. Oh also Berger Kings as veggie burgers (there not on the menu but you can still order one!) that are pretty tasty.

In the frozen foods section the brand Morning Star has vegetarian "chicken pattys" and berger and stuff and they taste pretty good. Also tofu is pretty tricky to cook so make sure you read up on how to prepare it before you try to cook it.

But if you have any questions ask me ^_^.

you need to be very careful when becoming a vegitarian because they have to eat certain foods in combinations to get the proper vitamins

like you have to eat cornbread with beans to make a protein everyone has to eat protein and if you don't get it from meat you have to get it ssome how

and to waht degree are you going to be a vegitarian there are full fledge vegans that won't even eat eggs or drink milk

and regular vegitarians can sometimes be comfortable with eggs (cause there were never fertalized therefor would never have become a baby chicken) and milk cause even though that's a animal product it doesn't harm the cow to give it up

but yes do your research! you want to do it right if your going through with it. you have to stay healthy

you probably already know this but make sure you keep away from gelatin foods- its made out of crushed hooves and bones. most things have gelatin in them which makes being a vegetarian pretty hard. Good luck! i think what your doing is really great :)
