hey everyonee , well this kind of goes with my last question , which if you read it you would know i got my period for the first time ever yesterday.. tomorrow i have lacrosse and wednesday as well.. i want to know what i am suppost to do. ! i have JUST using pads for now.. PLEASE HELP ME. will i be okay ? i can just wear spandex under my shorts also.?

It may be uncomfortable, but I think you'll be fine.. I don't know how long lacrosse lasts, but if it's going to be a while, I'd pack and extra pad - just in case. (:

youll be fine, just wear a pad and bring extras with you. you could wear spandex thats what i did in high school. dont start wearing tampons til you are ready-and i would wait til your period is easier to handle before using them. you can also take tights or hose and cut the legs off them and wear those in place or under spandex-it keeps everything together- i love them.

Yea spandex will definately help. Keep things in place. Then you can wear shorts over them. I have these special 'period' underwear that are tight, kinda spandex-y, and will not let leaks leak out... they are awesome and I wear those when I work out.

i have what i call "period undies". they're just a lot less skimpy than my usual stuff, and they have more elasticity to them, to prevent leakage or anything. i would invest in some. :) youll be fine. if you feel like you're leaking, go to your teacher, explain that you need to deal with something, and go change your pad.
