ok, things you should exepect is some pains in your stomache, back pain, headaches and mabey even feel alittle bit dizzy, everyones symptoms are diffrent, some have none at all, now about changing your pad at school, just wait untill your recess and lunch, or if you have the need to do it during class, put the pad in your pocket if you have one, you should change your pad every frw hours. about gym, you should just take a note from your parents or something saying that you cannot participate, it really depends on what you do in gym.... and the back pain, would probably just have been a symptom of your period.

don't worry we all go through it.

when i first got my period i was fine until i went to school and all that activity gave me horrable cramps i had to go to the nurse and i got to go home woot but i never hand cramps again after that

truthfully i love the walmart brand ultra thin pads they are in a green bag type container (equate is the name) and i always get super so incase i don't get to go to the bathroom it'll absorb more just incase.

and they are so small you can even line your bra (one in each cup) and no one will notice.

also if you put it in your pocket it's really hard to tell it's in there.

usually i left mine out in my locker so when i had to go to the bathroom i just stopped by my locker and got what i needed

but it's also good to go for a tampon. you can wear those for up to 4hrs at a time. so you'd just change it before lunch

Yea, your period can make your lower back sore and achey. I guess what I used to do is try to change my pad inbetween classes. because this is your first period you might not be very heavy so you might not need to change as often. You can put a small makeup bag in your backpack with your pad in it so if you need to go inbetween classes then you can just grab your makeup bag.

okay. so the first thing is not to worry ... okay its kinda uncomfortable having your period in school . i hate it.. but what i do is .. carry a purse with you.. and stick it in there. in classes ask to go to the bath room and bring your purse with you.. in the bath .. just change pads and whip ! come back like everything is fine .. you might want to change it two to three times in school.

also everyone has different problems with periods. l

hey girl, I know exactly what you are going through and I can sympathize. You must be freaked out because having your period is definately no walk in the park!If you get pain or aches sometimes it is because of your period and what i have is special medication that you can buy in a pharmacy. If your cramping is bad put a hot water bottle on your stomache (weird I know but it helps) and lie on a couch or bed with your legs elevated. If you have gym you can always get a note from your parents saying you are "sick" and cant do anything.

Also, another option is instead of pads opt for tampons. Its probably not a good Idea to use them now, but later on when your period is regulated its really helpful to have tampons because it feels like you dont even have your period! But pads work well too and are simple and easy to use.Whatever you decide, realize this is all a part of growning up and just try to accept it.Hope that helped,
