confidence boosters

hey guys im sure theres some type of thread on here bout my question however i cant find it i take depression medication and it helps alot but i still have low self esteem and have a hard time meeting new people any thoughts or ideas on gaining more confidence?

How about your friends? Do you have a group of friends you hang out with? Being around your friends can help booster your self confidence. Part of it is also telling yourself positive things about yourself too yourself. Maybe everyday,, you should find one thing good about yourself and you have to tell yourself this the whole day.

low self esteem is hard to deal with, i have the same problem and it can effect relationships with important people in my life. find out what makes! and appreciate it. stand up for yourself-its a good risk and youll feel good you did it. set goals for yourself that you can achieve (whether its to improve your outer appearence, your innerself, or your life in general) Also, taking care of yourself phsically like eating healthy, getting enough sleep and excersize is a veeery effective way to boost your confidence. youll not only feel better because your healthy but youll also know that you are making you the best you can be. Last but not least dont think of perfection. Nobodys perfect and the more your try to be the more frustrated youll get when you find out that its impossible to be perfect. Oh yaa and try a nice bubble bath and paint your toenails that always makes me feel pretty!

Everytime you pass a mirror, or reflective surface, look at yourself and say, "I AM beautiful. I don't want to be anyone else. I LOVE ME!"

first find something you enjoy doing. when you are doing what you like, your inner light will shine and you will be more comfortable. take a real look at what you don't like about yourself in the mirror. write down what you don't like and think of ways you can change it. you may not like this part but it will open your eyes about your realistic problems. then just tell yourself that you are who you are and you are beautiful. positive reinforcement is so great, it just takes time to get into it. work at it and hopefully you will be ok. everyday won't be great, but you will see improvement. :)

and another thing is act like you have confidence and you'll see people start treating you with a bit more respect and in turn it will help you out with that problem

i used to think i was going to be the lonley cat lady back in school then i learned who cares what others think and i started thinking highly of myself and i realized it wasn't helping me at all acting like i was shy so i made the decision to change!
