How can I make my hair look scene?

I dont have the short choppy scene layers but I'm hoping to get them soon, and I've tried to tease my hair but it always falls flat about a half an hour later. Help?

The layers will help a lot with the teasing.. it will be easier for your hair to stay with shorter choppier layers.

Well, there are a couple of ways. =]

Invest in some clip-in hair extensions. These are becoming more popular, and therefore less expensive (yay!). If there is a Sally Beauty Supply store or Hot Topic near you, these places both sell relatively cheap ($3-$6 per clip) hair extensions. I'd just get two of whatever color, and apply them so they frame your face (like the picture). If you don't want a crazy color, I'd go with a platinum blonde. If you want crazy, a dark red would look great on ya.

If you're not so into the idea of hair extensions, there are a couple other ideas. One would be to focus more on accessories. Grab some cute little bows, barrettes, etc. and give your hair a makeover with them. Give yourself a deeper part and comb your bangs across the forehead. Or you can put your hair in a sloppy ponytail (or low pigtails) but leave some hair hanging down in the front. All of these are great styles.

Sorry if this is info overload! I have a similar problem getting my hair to stay once its teased every once in awhile, so I know how frustrating it can be. Good luck! :D

first dye it midnight black and then bleach out some streaks. i LOVED my hair when i did it this way. I also had very short layers in the back so that teasing wasnt necessary.with the short layers in the back you just brush the hair up and then spray hairspray as you let it fall.
