Well, what I can suggest really depends on the kind of look you're after! What kind of style - feminine with a darker edge? Alt chic? Full-on punk?

If you have a good pair of straighteners and aren't afraid to do a little ironing every morning (please use conditioning spray to protect your hair!), how about a blunt 'hime' style cut, with a below-eyebrows fringe and longer side pieces framing the face? It works best on an oval or semi-round face, with a strong hair colour like black, red or pale blonde.

Here's an example of a shorter style that would work very well with naturally curly hair - the model's hair has been curled, but in the way that it would curl naturally, not with perfect artificial curls:

It would look gorgeous with the fringe straightened and curly hair left down or just pinned behind the shoulders as well as worn up. The side pieces can be as long as the chin with a hime cut. Or how about something like this, if you don't have a fringe and don't fancy getting one? All it would really require is for the ends of the hair to be thinned or cut a bit sharper by a hairdresser. This one might be a bit trickier to pull off if your hair has very tight curls, but if they're medium tight to relatively loose it would work just fine.

If you're after something a bit less girly and a bit more crazy, how about something like this - - piled up on the head, or if you're brave and your hair isn't that unmanageable, teased, to look shorter, so that on an off-day you wouldn't have to style it? I can imagine that a bright red, orange-based or blue-based depending on what would suit your colouring best, with white or vanilla blonde streaks would look amazing like this. Again I'm sorry that it's a straight-haired person with curled hair, it's hard to find interesting styles with naturally curly models, but the straight side bit could potentially be done without straightening - pull it over to the side, smooth some gel up the side, comb it and hold it tightly while the gel sets, then use freeze spray and a few bobby pins hidden in the pile-up of hair.

I'm sorry I can't give any more advice than that, it's not really my style! But I hope that might have given you a few ideas.
