food journal

why is keeping a food journal so important when you want to lose weight?

we don't usually realize how much of something we eat so keeping a food journal can help keep track. that way, we gain more control in terms of calorie count and making healthier choices. Also, you'll be less likely to snack idly--which can really add up!

i think when you keep a food journal, you're able to see how much you really eat, which will help you take control and start lowering how much you take in.

so that if you're honest with yourself and write everything the next day you'll see what you wrote and say Dang, i ate waay too much yesterday, or did i really need to take 3 bars of chocolate? and you'll try to do better
