The base recipe is: heat up 3/4 cup of oil of your choice (olive, macadamia, almond-oil, etc., ) in the microwave with 2 teaspoons of stearic acid and 1 teaspoon of emulsifying wax until fuse. Separately heat up 1/2 cup of water of your choice (such as rain water, ice water) in the microwave with a 1/2 teaspoon of borax until boiling hot.

Then slowly whip in the oil mixture with a hand blender. Keep mixing until fairly cool. At this time, you can add vitamin e oil, fragrance, aroma oils or extracts. When the lotion seems well mixed, flood it into bottles. If you are going to keep your lotion longer, put it into the fridge. Vitamin E is a natural preservative and may also help.

All homemade lotions for face skin suggest discretion for you. You can use green tea instead of water or rainwater, or with whatever herb extract you like. You are free to experimentalize with ingredients and consistence. You may also use a propolis natural preservative and a healthy component for fading skin. The possibilities are endless and you have the perfect opportunity to make your best homemade lotions for face skin.

1] Honey Cleanser

Dab of Castile soap

1 Teaspoon honey

Wet face. Pour a little castile soap into the palm of your hand and add honey. Mix honey and soap into a lather, wash face using gentle circular motions. Castile soap is made from vegetable oil as opposed to animal fat like other soaps. Oils used in castile soap include olive, coconut, almond, hemp, and jojoba.

2] Avocado Mask

1/2 ripe avocado

1 teaspoon vegetable oil or olive oil

Mash avocado into a paste and add vegetable oil. Apply to clean skin. Leave on for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

3] Green Tea Mask

1/2 cup pure spring water, mineral water or distilled water

2 teaspoons green tea leaves (or 1 green tea bag)

Bring water to a boil. Place the tea leaves or tea bag in a glass bowl. Pour the boiling water over the leaves or bag and steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Strain the green tea into a sterilized bottle, and let it cool. Store your toner in the refrigerator for a refreshing toner.Green tea tightens and calms skin. It also contains a strong antioxidant that fights signs of aging. This toner should be applied before a moisturizer.

Last but not least, the most important part of winter skin-care is keeping the whole body hydrated. Drink approximately 64 ounces or more of water daily.

Hope I helped (=
