lolhave that problem because i have VERY thick hair!

i shave in the same direction as the hair from top to bottom it helps UBER

you can also use baby oil instead of shave cream

and getting a regular girl electric trimmer keeps it shaped up nicely if you dont' want to be bald

i like the landing stripe : P

It is kinda hard not to get the bumps. When using a razor to shave... the bacteria from your razor gets into your pores that causes the red bump irritation. What is best is to use an antiseptic after shaving like Tend Skin. This product works great! It illiminates red bumps and ingrowns!!!! Pretty much Every TIME i used it. But I rarely shave... i prefer waxing ...

uh... i would say the razor bumps really aren't infection related

the hair (atleast for me) is very coarse so when i shave against the grain or my razor isn't sharp (i use those cheap disposable razors. i just grab one before i hop in the shower and toss it out when it doesn't feel sharp anymore

when you go against the grain you are irrittin the folicles and when the razor isn't sharp it's tugging at the hair and folicles and sometimes pulling the skin slightly up and closer to the blades which can cause irritation

i'm sure it's irritation not infection

irritation is almost immediatly infection takes a day

and OMG if you use something antiseptic afterward you're going to cry! i'm sure that would burn like crazy on that irritation!!!!!

i iused to have that problem... so embarrassing

what Ive found is if you use a disposable razor make sure its new and not too cheap.

use sensitive bubble bath not shaving foam... or hair conditioner but that can mess up ph balance down there.

also a biggie just b4 or during that time of the month dont shave ur skin is really sensitive

savlon cream helps to get rid of them red bumps when and if you get them

Ugh, I hate shaving there. :P I too am really sensitive. I haven't found a really great shaving medium for that area yet, but so far I'm liking baby oil the most.

You might want to try BikiniZone as well, that helps a little bit with the itching and irritation.
