Might be a weird question but I recently got my nose pierced and the skin around the stud is dry...

...and kind of peeling. Can I put moisturizer that close to the piercing? I keep thinking it's a bad idea. I was spraying Bactine on the piercing after I got it because it sort of got infected. The Bactine dried my skin.

You could try a bit of vaseline. Other moisturizers might irritate the piercing if it is still fresh (not fully healed). Or you could try using Polysporin ointment, which will prevent infection and it'll be less drying than a spray. Hope this helps. :)
