Dyed my hair, but the roots came out TOO light! :(

so it's been a while since i dyed my hair. i used this dye but of course i didn't come out that bright, i wanted it to my hair would just have a tint. But the roots came out kinda orangey :( What should i do? thanks! :)

you mean when you washed the stuff out your root area was lighter than the other part of your hair?

do you normally dye your hair a dark color. yes that would cause it to be harder to accept a new lighter shade (yes that red/burgundy is a lighter shade than dark brown) but your natural color hair at the roots would accept the color easier

sometimes you have to lift your original dark color so you can put something else over it.

Loreal product doesnt even work at all! i dyed my hair last year +& same thing happened to me.
