My face gets really red after running or doing physical activity! help!?

I'm an active girl, i do many sports and im not one of those girls who hate running. Its just that when i run and do some physical activities my face gets really red (as red as a tomatoe, no joke) Everyone asks me if im okay and if i need a break. But i always feel normal and not really out of breath. It also takes a long time to get back to my normal skin color. Its really embarassing especially when every one else is normal... Any help or suggestions? do i have a problem? i wash my face everyday, it stills does it.

it's very possible you just get flushed when you do these activities. are you very light skinned? very pale?

it could be something do to blood pressure and if you feel it lasts too long it can't hurt talking to a dr or nurse aobut it. you can even call your dr and just talk over the phone about it.

i would say being super red is something to get looked at it never hurts to ask and i've never heard of someone being upset they got an anwser

Usually it's just because you've been exherting energy. Your body just gets hot, & the blood rushes to your face, causing flushing. Drink some cool water, splash some of it on your face & stand in front of a fan for a bit. The cooler you can get your face, the sooner the flushing will go away.

hey!!

probably its because you're of a light pink complection so when the blood rushes to your face it causes an intense red colouring. anyways ideally keep your face cool while playing sports such as wear a cap, and splash your face often with water. and i dont think you have a problem

I'm the same way, i'm really quite tan, and athletic. I found the best solution was changing my breathing pattern around. I wasn't gettin enough oxygen to my head (thus causing flushing). so perhaps that'll work too?

This happen to me today !! I just had pratice for my sport, and we did not a hard excercise. I was red and everyone ALSO asked me if i was okay, or if i was going to faint or didn't feel well. I was super embarssed too because i looked sunburn really bad ! I Think you should just try to drinks lots of water, and breathe differently too. Hope it works too!
