About

Hi everybody: I'm a guy who likes fashion and hopes to be a fashion writer.  I stumbled on this site accidentally, and fell in love with it. Since I joined, I have found  everyone to be fabulous--so accepting and non-judgmental. And that's been really special because it's not always been easy being a fashion-oriented boy who's into stuff girls like and isn't really very boyish.

What to Wear for a Field Hockey Game

Okay, so I usually avoid sporting events at all costs. But my sister is a real athlete and wants me to come to her homecoming game next Saturday. So I'm going to go and hope I won't be too bored and that I cheer at the right times. I'll be with my mom and two aunts and there's a reception afterwards. She goes to a private school and the girls and their boyfriends can be pretty preppy and snobby. I told Jules I would tone down my look so I don't embarrass her (no beaded bracelets :p). But I still want to look good.

I plan to wear this purple cardigan with a pale pink checked shirt and dove grey jeans, slim but not ultra skinny

I also thought about wearing a scarf to kind of complete the outfit. What do you guys think about this one?

Any other ideas would be great? Thanx

I love the scarf:-) paired with a long boot or even an ankle boot.
and then keep the rest of the look simple, maybe a long necklace??

Hey
I'm with you on the sport thing, I usually never go unless its a cricket match
I LOVE THE SCARF!!! and the whole look. I would pair it with a semi formal shoe (attached a pic, not the best pic but just a nice loafer type shoe, maybe in a leather ) I JUST love how guys look with loafers and skinnies (serious class)

Yeah, sports are definitely not me :p They really are cute shoes. Thanks for the suggestion. I was afraid the scarf might be "too much" but I love it too and am glad you do.

You might be right about the scarf, even though i love it. I like the sneakers too, but was thinking maybe about boots. I have a pair of these that go good with the grey skinnies. What do you think?
