Do you like the novel im writing? ill post the rest later!

I grasped two yellow daisies in my pale hands. I didn't want to look up from my hiding spot behind the willow tree and I didn't want to be where I was so soon. I was at my father's funeral, where relatives greeted each other mournfully. I pulled on my long braids to let them loose and wiped a warm tear from my cheek. I wanted to hide forever, behind the blooming tree and not have to face the rest of the world. "Molly!” My mother called from across the great lawn. I ignored her and closed my eyes, though the memory of my father's death haunted me. It had been my parent's twenty-fifth anniversary, and I ran out with my father to the local drug store, to buy the last minute card. He had been browsing the different cards while I was looking at different lip gloss shades, since I had brought a little change with me, until suddenly a strange looking man, probably in his mid-forties walked through the door. At first I didn't notice the man, until I heard screaming coming from the front-count counter. I peered out of the aisle, at the same time as my father, to see that the man had pulled out a gun on the cashier demanding for cigarettes that the store didn't carry. My father told me to stay behind him at once, and I refused. He then ordered me and I followed. He pulled out his phone and dialed 9-1-1. He told me that the police were on their way and we had to get out of the store without alarming the gunman. We went very slowly around all the aisles and decided to take the back door. My father rushed me out the back door, while he would try to help the other people who were trapped inside. I insisted no and pulled on his arm, but he pulled away. "Be careful,” I said, struggling for words. I waited frozen underneath the doorway watching him as he tried to stop the gunman from escaping. I turned away after I heard the first shot and had to cover my ears. The police arrived but my father was already dead, and I knew it too. I just stood there in shock, trying to block out the scene that had just occu
