i need to lose some weight. but im very active and play a lot of sports. how can i change my diet?

i guess its how i eat that is making e overweight but i just dont know how to change my diet to help me lose weigth because i ften need calories to support my sports.

The basic thing is to eat the "good" calories instead of bad ones. Do you eat unhealthy food now? You should avoid the simple sacharids like candies, but also fat, which is easy to be found in fried food, for example. Eat many proteins - this will prepare you for your workouts: chicken breasts, salmon, tuna fish (in brine, not in oil), eat more vegetables like broccoli (this has much of fiber and will keep your stomach filled for longer time than other vegetables), carrot... Fruit is good as well, but don't eat it in the afternoon as it contains much of a sugar (especially bananas). And remember, French fries are not vegetables. It's fried!! :)

Keep playing the sports and staying active is key, when it comes to dieting...its a little tough. Eat more GREEN veggies, lots of fruit, yogurt is great for a diet, narrow down on meat, eat more salmon and nuts. Those are just some foods that help. Also, don't eat such large portions of everything, and eat small amounts every few hours, you may eat more than three spread out.. Don't eat dinner after 7... but eat first thing in the morning. This worked for me! Hope it helps! :)
