Yeeaah using too much heat would diffinatly damage it, you can use some heat protectint spray but maybe just not straighning/ curling/blowdrying it every single day.

I've been taking a vitamin E capsule everyday for about 2 months and it seem's like it's growing quite alot faster than normal and it's good for the hair too.

also massaging the scalp for 5 minutes a day will make it grow alot quicker

yeah a flat irons gonna damage it even more than coloring your hair with chemicals will and thats bad. the more natural you learn to wear youre hair is the best thing you can do to grow out your hair. truthfully, theres not a whole lot you can externally besides that to help it grow faster. brushing it lots, changing shampoos, massaging scalp, and things like that are myths. just treat it with lots of conditioner, dont wash it unless you need to, stay away from heat, only cut off dead ends and when you need to, and just be gentle and mindful to what you put your hair through

Heat's about the worst thing you can do to your hair when you want it to grow. Make sure all your split ends are off, don't dye it.

Instead of styling it everyday you could keep it in a messy bun more often.
