Need help for oily skin.

I wash my face two times everyday with soap (hot then cold water) and then sometimes apply a toner and once per week I put honey on my face to exfoliate it.

But I think it went WORSE. It's really dry at some parts and really oily at other parts so I was wondering if I should just give my skin a break and start eating a really healthy diet?

What do you think?

i have the worst skin in the history of the world

and i used to use all these products and nothing worked it would jst make my skin realllly dry and then it would get oily two mins later

so i decided that i would wash my face with luke warm water in the morning then put on a normal cream (benzac) and then i would mousiturise and put my daily make up on

then at night i would wash my face with a soap and put the cream and moisturuiser on and once a week exfoliate and once a week (diff day) use a pore strip

and my face has been better then ever!!!

maybe it would work for you too

good luck

I think the soap is drying your face out. And also the toner. It's necessary to use a moisturizer after using a toner. And check that whether your toner has got alcohol in it. That's the ingredient that dries out skin. And your skin is not fully oily, I think it's combination. Drink water. That's the best solution. 7 to 10 glasses a day. And use a moisturizer even if your skin is oily. Use that is made for your skin type.

if you look in my blogs under SKIN folder i have a new blog about what i do to keep my skin clean

eating healty is great and when you wash your face you want to use soap that's made for faces it will help not dry it out too much

i wash my face once a day in the shower. i rince it off in the mornings with just water when i wake up or notice it's kinda oily around my nose in the afternoon. ps i take my showers in the evening

i use a toner if my face feels kinda dry after cleaning (my toner doesn't have alcholo it feels more like soap)

and i have an oil free face lotion. you can use it after you clean your face when it feels really dry (and a lil squirt goes a long way)

okay, i know this may sound weird: but washing your face too much can actually make your skin even OILIER!

this is because when u wash too much, it causes the natural and good oils to escape...so your skin reacts by producing even more than the amount of oil you need. so u should only wash your face once per day using a mild soap, preferably one for sensitive skin

i agree with the oil-free lotion on the dry parts. but you should test a small area to make sure it works well and that you wont have adverse reactions to it.
