I use a black eyeliner pencil on my water line. It looks great when i first put it on, and then after a few hours it starts to wear away and smudge, even though I don't touch my face or rub my eyes and blink the average amount of times a person should. This is really starting to bother me because I feel like I have to constantly get up and go to the bathroom to check to see if I look alright during school. Is there a particular typed of eyeliner that works best for this area? A certain brand?

Is it water proof? If it isn't you should get waterproof eyeliner. If not maybe you should switch to crayon eyeliner. Hope this helps. :) XOXO

I know my eyeliner does the exact same thing! It makes everyone look trashy when it's all smudged a little below the bottom lashes! I would say use a primer, a water proof eyeliner, or crayon eyeliner like the answerer below me said. : )

yea a waterproof automatic liner would go on smooth

also if you can make sure the area is dry when you apply

i can't color my waterline it aims too much toward my eye and the color escapes into my eye in just a matter of seconds lol so i never color my waterline i just do the upper lid and i find that opens my eye up more and it looks very natural

i also like teal liner (like in the pic) with golden tan shadow and a shiny pink lip natural looks can go a long way in opening your options with makeup if your only use to vivid colors

you would prob need a water proof eyeliner they work great or you could try mac eyeliner they have really good ones i had the same problem and then i got mac and it seemed to work great but it runs out fast and you have to buy another one so try waterproof first

I had the same prob. but then read this tip in a magazine.... put eyeshadow underneath your eyes... it looks AMAZING! I always got compliments and ppl always asked me how I did it but i never told..hehe... so this is the first time lol but I used white eyeshadow and it looked really really good. it doesnt run...and kinda gives that stunning smudgy effect. try this out im sure you will be very satisfied

i agree with barbipixi i put black liner on my upper lids. my lashes look some much more darker without mascara but in a naturel way. you could black on the upper lid and white liner on your water line. tha't's what i recommend (it's also what i do for my day make-up every day!!!)
