How can I make my hair grow as long as it was?

I used to have long hair untill I tryed to dye it and it came out. :( It is now neck length. It took a long time for my hair to get back healthy, but now I want it to grow longer back to the length it was. Any tips. I used to wash it every week, but now I will try to wash it every two weeks because all this washing dries out my hair and makes it weak, plus the water here in Tennessee isn't really gentle and I want to keep as much heat from the flat iron off of it was possible. Any tips to help it grow longer? Here is a pic of how long it was.

The only true answer is time, dear.

I wish there was a faster way to grow hair out though, i would use it in a heartbeat. because I had an 'effing amazing scene mullet, but my mom forced me to chop it off into a bob, it's growing out inch by inch, though.

But, don't worry, darling.

Depending on how fast your hair grows, it may be back long in about a month or two.

Diet & vitamins and just in general taking care of your hair is huge. Jell-O is actually very good for your nails/hair! Regular trims should be given too - you don't need trims as much as the hairdressers say you do, but they should still be done to keep those dead brittle ends off. Seeing as though you don't wash your hair much is a plus too - brushing through your hair with a wide set comb every other day will make sure the natural oils are spread amongst your hair properly and evenly! Good luck!

try not to use any heat appliances whilst your in the process of growing ur hair , use products to enhance its natural texture , if you have to use heat styling use a heat protection or you could have your hair peramntly straightened , remeber to treat it to deep comditioning and hot oil treatments to nourish and hydrate your hair , goodluck :)

thing you can do to make your hair grow

- shampoo and condition hair 2-3 times a week not more

- put olive oil on your hair for 24 hrs or over night it helps to give strong roots make hair softer and shinny

- brush hair 2 times day don't brush often

- massage the scalp when shampooing and when you put oil on it

things you shouldn't do may damage your hair

- don't use your hair dryer often it causes split ends let your hair dry naturally

- avoid using the hair straightener

try not to use heat on your hair avoid it at all times

- avoid hair spray or other anything of that sort on your hair

- don't touch your hair so much

- avoid lots of chemicals

doing all this will make your hair healthyer not grow really really fast but in the long run yeah it helps. it may seem a lot to do but trust me there pretty easy and simple and wont take much time.

yeah as jodmets said vitamins too help to grow hair fast.
