What color should I dye my hair? Would a dark brown work on me?

I'm REALLY tired of my current hair color, and I'm looking for a change. I'm looking at going darker since I've stuck with lighter colors for so long.

I'm looking at a dark brown, but the thought of going with a burgandy color also caught my eye, but I'm a bit concerned about it looking bad when it fades (since reds fade so quickly).

What do you suggest?

(I wanted to post a picture where you can see my skintone in natural sunlight. I have a few light freckles, and I'm not as pale now, but that's the best I can do right now)

why don't you try the burgundy, and when u think it got faded, just go for the darker one. This way you'll have both

(or just refresh the burgundy with a coloring shampoo once in a while so that it will last longer)

you can always go over it with a red wash that will keep it up

but the one in my lists under 'stuff i use' always looked great on me and lasted on my hair (i have REALLY THICK DARK BROWN HAIR)

but i loved that color they do sell more burgandy versions
