it has to be a concious decision

i would follow the 2 bite rule. you can have 2 bites a day and that's the limit anything after that has to be fruit, veggie, peanut butter toast, honey-butter toast, cinnamon sugar toast, milk (chocolate : P)

First try to have some self control over certain foods. If that does not help, then do not buy certain foods... if it is not in the house then you will not eat it. that is what I do. I do not buy sweets or sodas. Or tell your parents to aviod buying certain things. Snacking is not a bad thing... but snack wisely and healthy. Like I bought tons of grapes and I keep them in the fridge cleaned. I will grab the tubberware full of grapes whenever I feel the urge to snack. So you can prepare certain healthy snacks and put them away till you feel the urge.

i really do not kno if this helps, sorry if it doesnt, but make yourself not think about junk! i always, ALWAYS, used to just open the fridge and stand there until i found something. another option is to try wating healthy or organic, or preoccupy your mind with a sport, OR put a lock on the refrigderator? lmao! hahaha.

i also eat a lot of junk food..however i started to experiment with all those diets and i found out that nothing can substitute eating i decided to eat further but something that's more healthy some snacks that won't put extra pounds on are some ideas that can help you fight the munching....

Its okay to eat but make sure its good food, what I do it is i ask myself "do i wanna eat something that has no nutritional value and will only pack on the pounds or something that's healthy for me?" try grabbing like some crackers instead of potato chips or some fruit instead of a candy bar. baby steps helps a TON! or if you just don't want to snack period, just busy yourself, like call a friend, or get one the computer. and drinking tons of water helps cause it fills you up!

try to not buy junk foods, or buy junk food that isn't as bad for you. instead of a lot of ice cream or chips, i buy edamames and chocolate covered pretzels. i usually have a bowl of edamames before bed, and if im on my period, i eat a handful of chocolate covered pretzels. just think before you grab that junk food too. if you think "this is unhealthy and not good for me" you may be less likely to eat it.

so, this worked for me;

try to stop buying junk food or simply eliminate it completely.

when you become hungry, drink lots and lots of water.

it will fill you up, and no weight gain.

plus, water is great for your skin and hair. :)

remember not to skip meals though.

you just have to have some self control, and it will become easier, the longer you do it.
